HIV worries! What are the chances? Please help

Hi, I've been to a strip club recently where I got a lap dance. The dancer was wearing a g-string and I was wearing delicate jeans and underwear. I ejaculated near my side pocket with her not on top.
My questions are:
1-could there have been some vaginal fluids on her hands or g-string that may have stained my jeans and mixed with my ejaculte, and somehow found its way to my urethra?

2- does it matter that I ejaculated or not? Does it increase the risk? Because of the exchange of fluids.

3- do I need to get tested?

Please if this is not possible, explain to me why this cannot happen!



I also have another case: a lancet with fresh blood pricked me while I was testing for a friend for diabetes. Using the blood sugar measuring device. There were no visible blood on fingers after the incident. Is this s risk?

4. The lancet prick was also not a risk. Needles are only a risk factor when they are hollow bore and being shared for the purpose of injecting drugs. In this case, possible hiv positive blood is being injected directly into the blood stream. Totally different to being pricked by a lancet or a pin or sewing needle.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. This is why you could not have been infected during the lap dance and also why you could not have been infected by a small amount of blood on the outside of a lancet needle.

Not one person has EVER been infected through a lap dance and you are certainly not going to be the first.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER A LAP DANCE OR THE LANCET INCIDENT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you so much for you relieving answer Ann. i only have one more question.

i'm thinking that i cannot get infected over a lap dance because of the very unlikelihood that such small amounts of vaginal fluids can pass through 2 layes of clothes and end up in a very tiny opening. even if it had mixed with my ejaculate. does that make sense? other than the fact the hiv is so fragile. add to that that i never saw any vaginal fluids on my jeans.

You could not have been infected during a lap dance even if both of you were completely naked, provided no penetration took place.

There is such a thing called frottage where genitals are either rubbed together or rubbed on some part or other of the body, without actual penile/vaginal or penile/anal penetration taking place. Frottage is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection. Believe me, if I thought you did, I'd tell you in no uncertain terms.
