Alain,

I'm sorry to hear about all your trouble.  Believe me, I'm not proud of a lot of what this country does... more like what the 'rulers' of this country do.  When you say "You guy's just don't want people like me anymore.", you need to realize that this is not true.  The vast majority of Americans would have no problem with you being here.  Those pricks in Washington are the ones that are screwing up this country.  Believe me, I for one did NOT vote for 'em!  I'm glad you're doing better, physically, anyway!  Take care.

Hi Alain,

It does seem that bad things come in groups. One thing goes wrong, and then the downward spiral just starts to fall. But it will get better. Try not to let the customs guy bother you. He was an ass, probably always will be.  And please remember that the current administration in the US does not speak for all Americans. I would be honored and welcoming of you and your family and friends in home.

Good thoughts and prayers for your upcoming surgery.

So sorry you had to go through that at the airport. Makes me mad so I can only imagine how you feel.
