Help me with oral contact I have been a young lady and boyfriend twice, but I have done two oral doses, but I have not been able to see both. I am very afraid. I am afraid. It was my pharyngitis in my throat, and it made me crave it.

Receiving unprotected oral sex is not a risk for HIV infection, but may be a risk for other STD's/STI's.

Giving unprotected oral sex is a theoretical risk only and would require that the provider of oral sex have significant open wounds in his or her mouth (as in "meth mouth").  However, giving oral sex could be a risk for other STD's/STI's.

@nermin

I removed your post. Please do not post outside this thread again, thank you.

It is simple move on, use condoms for intercourse and remember to test at least yearly for HIV & STI's as routine. Nothing you posted here stood out as a HIV risk, or would warrant immediate testing.

You have already been warned by Jim to stay inside your single thread.  You tried to open a duplicate account, but I rejected you and then you have asked about the same incident in another forum ("How Can I Prevent HIV?") and I have now merged that entry with this thread.

If you do it again, you will be banned from this site.

Your question has been asked and answered twice.  Read the thread.

In addition, your doctor has answered your question.

You had virtually no risk, unless you had gaping wounds in your mouth (as in "meth mouth") and that risk would be a theoretical risk only.

You can access these links get a sense of relative risk:

https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/oralsex.html

https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/estimates/riskbehaviors.html

If you don't like these answers, get tested for HIV antibodies six weeks after the incident and then 13 weeks after the incident to confirm the six weeks results.

Do not post about this incident again in these forums.

Move on with your life.
