Update from Belgium
« on: April 16, 2014, 03:42:13 am »
Dearest friends,

I have not been active on here since many years, but I have certainly not forgotten any of you. You are the reason I am still around. The first AMG came at a time when life seemed no longer worth living.... and look at me now, almost ten years later.

With great sadness I heard about the passing of Rocky. I still am in disbelief.

I am still studying to become a sign language interpreter, now in my third year and one more to go.

Happily living together with my lover since 3 and a half years now. Busy  as usual. living in Amsterdam half the week as he works there part time.
Doing yoga, hiking, studying and practicing sign language.
My health is stable , after 30 years with HIV !

Two weeks ago I had to put my sweet Lola, my Jack Russel, to sleep. many of you will remember her :( . It brought back the pain and grief from all the previous losses from dear friends and fellow sufferers...

I hope you are all doing fine and life is treating you fair.

Love

Hi Hermie , I remember you and your love off Dogs from when I first joined ,also the sign language as it was a passionate interest off my late partner and I remember silent , jolly parties usually in a circle. He taught a deaf group Music.

I understand the loss off a Dog  , I,m sorry . You will see from my pic that I too am a lover off JR, Mia is a Black and Tan skinny streak off lightning , a beauty .

Try not to be a stranger again Hermie all the best, Michael

Hi Hermie!

It is really good to hear from you after all this time.

I am very happy to hear you are doing well, in a happy relationship and still learning and doing, which is so important.

I am sorry to hear about Lola. I know how much she meant to you.

Keep us posted on how things are going.

BIG HUGS,

Mark

Hi Hermie.

Good to hear from you, dear man.  I only learned of Rocky's death from reading your post!  If I come into the forums, I only go to LTS, and I didn't see anything here about it.

Sorry about Lola, I know how much you loved that sweet girl.   I saw on FB how you have her ashes and the little memorial you have set up for her - it's lovely.

Love & hugs to you,
Alan
