Title: RIP Gina Quattrochi
Post by: Ptrk3 on December 22, 2016, 04:35:28 pm
She was there for those afflicted with HIV/AIDS from the start.  May her courage and kindness never be forgotten and her good works live on forever:

From the New York Times:

Gina Quattrochi, who turned Bailey House into the nation’s largest provider of housing to people with AIDS and a model for similar organizations around the United States, died on Dec. 13 in Manhattan. She was 63.

RIP dear lady.  Housing is crucial to all citizens but if one is fighting AIDS it is mandatory to have a roof over their head.  Thanks to her efforts and those of other heroes this was made possible.
