You know you had fun...

... when you lost your phone at the bar and couldn't get it back until days later because of the freak snow and ice storms that struck Texas as soon as your plane landed.

Oh, and it makes it even worse when your friends Myspace you to say, "Man, those storms made national news.  We're wearing tank tops in Richmond."  I have killed them.

Austin is a very cool place... even if the weather didn't cooperate.  At all.

I was completely and totally shocked by how spread out everything was... so much so that I have decided to not live there... people were super friendly... but the thought of driving 20 minutes everywhere kinda freaks me out.

It looks like the East Coast is going to have to put up with me for quite some time.

Oh yes.
Your tastebuds can't repel flavor of this magnitude!

It is all about being in the right place at the right time. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

That's a shame!

The first time I ever visited, it seemed to take forever to get around.  But now whenever in town we just zip around!

Austin is an awesome city.  In fact, it's an island of sanity in a state I would otherwise trade for a box of used cat litter.
Floating through the void in the caress of two giant pink lobsters named Esmerelda and Keith.
