Wesboro Church Dilemma as new gayness test comes in...
« on: August 09, 2012, 08:58:00 pm »
This rather made me chuckle.

http://www.equallovecampaign.com/news/pre-birth-testing-for-gayness/

Apparently they will soon have pre birth testing for gayness.  What will  this mean to the loony religious right and abortions?

Hopefully, scientists will discover the gene that causes ignorant people to follow hate filled idiots under the guise of religion.  I'd definitely support aborting those fetuses.

It is a very interesting topic.

Having a baby in my opinion shouldn't be about the parent or his/her needs.
It must be about the baby.
Those who seek to alter their offspring are ultimately selfish and only wish to feed their own arrogance and pride.

If they would truly want a child they wouldn't want to choose, how it will turn out, they would just love it and support it, whatever it would grow into.

All these modifications just prove how selfish we are.

Well maybe for some conversative types it will be constructive and an eye opener. If there is a test for gayness then obviously its nature, not nurture. Since life begins at conception for some of these people, and everything is God's will, this means God is sending them a gay child.  They wouldn't abort ANY child so the cognitive dissonance might mean attitudes change and they see (in their world view) "we all all God's creation" even the little faggots.

On the other hand, if the parents-to-be cognitive dissonance is resisted, and they believe their church's condemnation of homosexuality, then the kid is going to be born into a family that knows the little baby faggot/leZZZZbian is a sin against God from day one and the poor child is going to be in for one crappy childhood, from the get gooooo,  WAY WAY before the kid has any sexuality at all, the parents will be wondering how to reprogram and/or redeem their sinful baby. Awful.

Oh hell no, now where are people going to find a decent hair dresser, actor, authors, waiter, sailor, decorator, porn star and so many other useful people if there are no gay people.

Rev. Albert Mohler of the Southern Baptist Seminary, which is headquartered right here in Louisville, has said scientist may very well discover a "gay gene."  He said that wouldn't change things, however.  Homosexuality would still be sinful.  You can't win with these people.  He said the Bible clearly says it is sinful, and is not willing to consider that the folks back then could not have known this.  I mean, the Bible is the literal word of God, and He would have known it was genetic.  God made people gay, but it is still sinful.  I guess God likes to mess with people that way.

He has said that if such a gene were found and there was a way to "fix" it, parents should do so.  Stem cell therapy is bad, but this would be okay.  I'm sure they would excuse abortion, if a mother found out her baby had the gay gene, but they hadn't figured out how to manipulate it.

If anti gay religious types where in any way affected by reasoned argument they would have to give up there sense off superiority and look at why they hate so. Its not going to happen all we can do is arrange care for any escapes , secretly join there churches and when there are enough off us hold a mass kiss in one Sunday.
It could be called Stroke Sunday.

Now that I come to think about it... they sort of represent something...

I am just going to ignore people's opinion from now on. Walking my own path is more important, and the only path worth taking.
