They can sell a billion memberships for 10 bucks a pop and still count on about a 100 to actually show up and use the equipment . Im not for sure but it seems like a profitable gimmick to me .

This is my favorite Planet Fitness ad. I saw a viewer comment note encouraging people to look at :04 in and he noted THAT is hot.  I think the whole ad is funny and a parallel to the men's lunk version.

My friend goes to Planet Fitness and he feels it's great deal and resource.

$10 month seems guaranteed to get you a staph infection. Or at least crabs.

There is one right down the street.  I would join for ten bucks.

I've never liked the idea of signing contracts for a gym.  Why shouldn't it be like anything else?  You don't sign a contract to get your hair did.  Or, get your nails did.  You don't sign contracts at your doctor's office.  Most tanning salons do not require a contract.  You pay as you go.  You can buy plans that save you a few bucks.

Almost every person I've known, who joined a gym, ended up paying when they no longer were going.  Or, they went every few weeks, so it wasn't financially smart.  It would be worth it, if you were disciplined and the gym had pools, saunas, clean towel service, massages, etc.  A happy ending would be nice.
