My Best Labs Evah, Y'all

VL Undetectable
CD4 768

Even with all the "other stuff" I have had to deal with the last month, I can't believe my #'s are so good.
Now if I can just get my cholesteral down.  My primary care physician has taken me off Lipitor 10 mg & has prescribed TriCor 145 in it's place.
I had just refilled my monthly meds and have a full bottle of unopend Lipitor. If anyone wants it shoot me a PM with your address & I will send it to you. I hate to just throw it away.

Let's do the happy dance!!!

Saw the urologist today. Everything is healing nicely. My surgical wound should be closed by next week. He told me " You will be going to Belgium before you know it." He will have to write a letter to the airline stating I had a medical emergency & couldn't fly on the 8th & that I am "fit to fly" now.

hang on Hermie pooh. I'm a comming!!!!!

Dan, didn't you just switch your meds around or was that just a plan that hasn't happened yet?  What are you on again?

Anyway congrats -- it's super that with your shitty past month that you've gotten this great news!

David

Hope that you're off to Belgium soon and can enjoy quality time with Herman.

David,

That was a plan that hasn't happened, yet. My HIV Dr. thought that I might be resistant to Viramune since I missed 5 days of meds while I was in the hospital.  I am currently taking 6 Kaletra, 4 Invirase, 2 viramune & 2 Epivir a day.  I call it the "explosive poop from hell combo" LOL

oh yeah girl... i did the double PI Kaletra/Invirase stuff from 04-06 and it's lethal -- I was taking 10mg imodium twice daily and it helped.  Works OK until you can get on Prezista/isentress.

Thanks everyone. The support from here helped those #'s rise.

I saw the urologist, my hiv doc, & the infectious disease Dr. at the hospital today.

The urologist told me I had the best urinalysis with him in 2 years! No more "stuff' in my urine.
He said I probably developed the scar tissue in my urethra because of a past STD .

Infectious disease Dr. released me from her care today. She told me I did a great job with the bandage changes and that the wound would heal on it's on & that I wouldn't have to have surgery to close it completely.

2 more visits from home health and I am free to get back out in the world again.  Look out Belgium!!! LOL

Hiv Dr changed my meds. Took me off Viramune & replaced it with Isentress. I complained about "squirts". He said that 6 Kaletra a day was probably the culprit & changed that med to 4 pills a day. I still have to take 3 Kaletra a day for a week & next week I will go to the 2 pills a day.

Now for a puppy update. they are starting to walk and their personalities are showing more. When I take the top of the dog crate off they all look up at me. It's so cute! I love me some puppy!!! Ain't nother better.

The lipitor has been claimed by a forum member. I will put those in the mail Wednesday.

If I don't have a reaction to Isentress I will have some extra Viramune if anyone needs that let me know by PM.

I'm feeling great, just wish I that Hermie could be here to see the babies & celebrate all this good news.

Love to all,

Dan
