Verry stresed, I want to be ensured.
« on: February 05, 2020, 09:11:08 am »
Hi moderators!
First, I apologize for my english level, I am a french speaker. My concern is I had a protected sex with a CSW 24 days ago, but at the end when I removed the condom I didn't check whether It was broken or not. While I got back home, I started wondering a lot about but I finished to convince myself that condom didn't breake. The fact that made me think about a probable condom break is I lost my erection a moment during the act and retired my penis then I gave a handjob to myself in orther to get the erection back then 3 or 5 minutes later, I penetrated her again and after 5 or 7 back and forth, I cummed. I am worrying may be the fact to give a handjob with condom made it fragile and occasioned a break, after 5 or 7 back and forth, that I didn't see at the end as I didn't check. Some people I ask, tell me that If there were break I should notice. Do you, guys, think if condom broke, I would forcely notice? And If there were break, a 5 seconds penetration with a broken condom represent a serious risk? My worry resurrect coz 18 days later, I got some (3) uncommon spot on my left arm as I was burned and I got sick one day, that I healed with some medicine and I'm itchy all over the body. I need advic e.

Hiya

HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. Now, If a condom fails during the act of intercourse creating a risk it's obvious to the insertive partner, as long as this did not happen, move on with your life.

Continue to use condoms, no exceptions and test out of standard routine at least yearly for STI's & HIV.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Thanks a lot jim! I got tested 4 and six weeks after this incident and It came back negative. I'am convinced now that the condom didn't break. But I got another problem this morning, I crushed a mosquito that let me a little blood to the fingers. 5 or 10 seconds later, I introduced the same finger in my nose and scratched the nasal mucosa. I am pretty sure that blood was from my room mate whose I dont know the HIV status. Is it risky if It was a contaminated blood?

Hiya

You're welcome, what you had posted was no exposure and so the negative test result, although, testing was unnecessary, is as expected.

No HIV risk whatsoever.

Hi jim. Sorry to comme back to you. 10 days ago I met a girl who was in her period, we had no penetration or intercourse but we stroked each other and for finishing she gave me a handjob by the same hand she was touching herself. What is my risk of acquiring HIV, considering her hand got some blood of period a short while before masturbating me with the same hand. Not mentioning the fact 4 days later the incident, I got a bad flu.

Getting a handjob is no HIV risk to you whatsoever regardless of what she touched beforehand. Zero.

Continue to use condoms for any intercourse, no exceptions and test out of standard routine at least yearly for STI's & HIV.
