Question about meds and high temperature
« on: July 07, 2020, 01:54:24 am »
Do you keep medication cool during heat waves? Because I  just tend  to leave them on my drawer (shady dry place).
And,since I live in Greece temperature goes close to the 40s.

Norvir needed to be refrigerated. this made travel difficult. because it needed to be kept cold .   keeping the meds a secret . anyone who opened my fridge could find my meds. it said Norvir on the label anyone could look it up ? there was only one use for that drug?

an experience from many years ago.

times change. good luck

I haven't really had issues and my doc never told me about keeping them refrigerated,so I never put thought to it. But recently I found something on reddit asking this question and I was puzzled, because currently it's 38 degrees here....
Some good news is that I've been getting 2 months worth of meds, which means I can easily travel if I want to,without being left without meds.

Hiya,

Look with the meds you are on a bit of warm weather is not an issue, I just keep mine in the original packaging and out of direct sunlight, that's it.

If you have doubts by all means check with your pharmacist

Best, Jim
