Hi, sorry, 2 answer!
« on: January 14, 2017, 02:00:44 pm »
hello I would have two questions. sorry for the inconvenience. While doing sex with an escort, for reasons I'm not here to explain, I removed the condom from the penis (after I had already penetrated the woman) and then put it back on the contrary without realizing it. is indirect contact? I'm afraid because I read that the glans and urethra are permeable to HIV. Uretra contains the cells that promote the viability of the virus. Then I wanted to know whether to answer are doctors or not, I wonder why in the "about us" I read that "what is written on this site do not sostuituisce the advice of a medical professional." Sorry again, thank you.

Hi

Nobody can give medical advise without seeing you and only a doctor in person can.

Nothing you mentioned was a HIV risk, bit stupid as reusing a condom as its more likely to break.

Anyhow HIV does not survive outside the human body (such as on surfaces), once hiv finds itself exposed outside the body, small changes in temperature,
pH / moisture levels all damage the virus and render it unable to infect.

Move on with your life.

ok I think I understand what you mean, so that you still Respond're all doctors, right ?!

However thanks for the answer, unfortunately, in various forums there are conflicting ideas about it. There, among the doctors, who talks about a theoretical risk and "biological plausibility" and recommended to do a test. I still I stick to your advice, which is that the virus can infect NOT once released out of the body. GREAT JIM thanks

Hi

Firstly I will explain biologically, four conditions need to be present for transmission to occur: The virus must be present in an infectious body fluid from the HIV positive person, it must be present at sufficient levels to cause infection. There must be an effective route of transmission, and it must reach susceptible cells in another person.

You did not meet any of the 4 biological conditions needed and all 4 are needed.
You fear falls under what we call "spillage" contact with a source outside the human body.

HiV is fragile and difficult to transmit so much so that well nobody has been infected by it outside the human body through contact and we know back to basics that HIV has an outer protein/receptors that are needed to remain infectious and they corrodes in contact with air, so it can no longer infect.

This poses a great problem to study it, and laboratory studies such as the ones at the CDC labs have to use unnaturally high and artificial laboratory-grown concentrations under precisely controlled and limited laboratory conditions to even study it, as it normally simply does not survive long in outside the body.  (Ask a lab how they do it, if you want to know more on how they artificially grow HIV as that part is beyond me)

Now the fact that in labs they can keep HIV viable outside the body has caused some people to misunderstand this to mean environmental risk is possible.
This is not the case as the labs use artificial conditions and concentrations of HIV many times greater than than anything ever found in patient specimens, the amounts of virus studied are simply not found in nature, and again no one has been infected with HIV this way.

You will not be making human history today. ;) You are simply not that special, I am sorry to say but its true.

As for doctors and other forums I don't comment on what they say the most plain stupid and scaremongering horse shit is said and posted by doctors and people online, every man and his dog has either a site or a blog.  If I believed what i read online than I would have superpowers and could fly and infect people with my laser beam eyesight due to HIV, I can't its all hysterical rubbish. HIV is very simple thing to understand its just biology and well document.

Finally we are just volunteers, people living with HIV who give their time free to provide information, some education and risk assessment as a service.  If you can't accept your assessment by all means go test but do move on from here.

Keep using condoms (correctly) and test at least yearly for both STI including but not limited for HIV

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim
