Take care,

Hello cd,

Nice to meet you, i found this place a few months ago. I might be new to here but not to hiv/aids. i have been poz since 1988, and am doing very well, i have my ups and downs but am still going strong. This place has been my life line since i found it. I might not respond to a lot of threads but i am here every day and read a lot of peoples remarks and threads. I am glad your cd 4 has gone up, keep doing what your dr. says and keep a positive attitude and things will improve.

Hey CD4, glad to see your numbers going up.  I have been on meds since september/october last year and my count went from 35 to 197 (as of April), so make sure you keep taking those meds and your numbers will continue to climb.

Welcome to the forums.

Hello Cd4,

I also started off with a low t-cell count. Mine was 16 back in October of 03. As of my last blood test on 5/16/06, t-cells were at 350. I have been on meds now for close to 32 months.

As you can see, it can take a while to build up the t-cells again. Your t-cell numbers are improving.

I like to ask you, how your viral load has been throughout this past year ,since starting on treatment? Also, how about your percentages ? These numbers are very important also.

Meantime, try to be patient, we all respond differently to the medication, your doing ok !

Will be looking forward to hearing from you...

Hello Cd,

You had a very nice junp in your CD-4's. As far as the percentages, mine were at 3 percent back in August of 2003. The percentages were very sluggish on going up. They are now at 11%, as of 5/16/06, So, as you can see, it does take some time for some of us.

It's great that you have joined PLHAs. This will be good for you, to get to meet people , and share your thoughts, and ideas.!! It's great that you have found this site. Keep posting !!
