This is kinda high but some labs would have 1.4 as the top end of normal for a female...

To test your kidneys you need a GFR test (glomerular filtration rate). A one off high serum (blood) creatinine may just mean you ate a big steak or exercised too much

1. Get a retest
2. Get  GFR done

Hi Panda

I woudn't panic too much if I were you.

Newt suggested getting tested again, I think this is a good idea,

Did you have a blood creatinine done? the normal range is between 0.5-1.1..so if you had bloods done then it's a little on the high side, but I don't think it's too much to worry about at this point.

Have you had a Creatnine Clearance done ? this is a urine sample done over a 24 hour period, the ranges are between 1.45-178...(just in case you need to know).

Keep working with your Doctor if you are overly concerned about this.

Hugs
