Getting ready to leave
« on: August 18, 2009, 02:49:39 pm »
Well it's time for me to head home after being away for 3 weeks, in 3.5 hours I will be at the airport.

Rab has been the perfect host even though he didn't do a damned thing I told him to and kept me in the cellar.. ;)..but I can't complain really RAB and DF took me on many sight seeing trips and I had a ball.

I have enjoyed every minute of my stay here in Potland and in Boston, I have seen sights I never thought I would see..and yes one of those sights was RAB in a huge pair of pink knickers, a big white bow in his hair and dressed like a waitress.. ;D.

I saw magic tricks with taxi's,.. I still don't know how you conjured that one up bocker..all I know is I was in the back seat before you had time to show me what it was you were pointing at, but what I do know is I wasn't walking anywhere that night.. :D..I.. also saw sights that weren't on the agenda, that was the night bocker took us the wrong way on the subway.

I even got to speak to Jody mum..she told me she is so proud of her son and with good reason as far as I'm concerned..Jody has a heart the size of A.ustralia.

Thanks again to everyone who made this another wonderful AMG...but it's time to go home now, I miss hubby and all my babies (two and four legged ones).

I will be back online in a week, I will need time to get home, settle back into homelife and get over my jet lag, so until then take care and I will catch up with you all soon.

hugs to you all
Jan :-*
P.S... looking forward to seeing all the photo's..I have some good ones.

Jan

You're boarding your flight to LA as I type this.  I'm sitting looking out the LR window, waiting to see what I'll estimate is your plane winging you home.

I've loved having you here, but I gotta admit this house feels pretty empty all of the sudden.  I could also tell you were getting a wee bit home sick the past couple of days.  Give my best to Jim and all those adorable "babies" of yours.

Safe travels to you my dear friend.

Jan-
Have a safe trip home. It was so nice to meet  and go "hunting" with you.  Have fun and enjoy your hubby and all your babies!

Jan,
I assume you'll be home when you read this... so, I hope you had a good flight back home.  I know the travel can be a bit rough sometimes.  As always, it was great seeing you again.  NZ can have you back for now, but we'll have you over this way again before you know it!  Maybe next time your host(ess?) will move you up to the main floor instead of sticking you in the basement!   ;)

My Dear Dame Jan,

It is always so difficult to say goodbye to you. :'(

By the way, did you know that, when you get excited, your accent becomes even stronger? ;D

Anyway, I hope you had a safe journey home. Settle in and then check in so we know you're OK.

HUGS,

Jan,

I know you won't see this until you get home, but now that Las Vegas is under serious consideration for next year's AMG...I hope you will be able to reconsider your plans and join us.  I know you went briefly, but this is one town that is always worth repeat visits because it changes every time!  A Vegas AMG will require us to "retool" our format a bit, but it would be a blast!  Safe travels and reunification with the family....

Thanks for the kind words guys, I made it home safe and sound but absolutely shattered, the family were happy to see me especially the dogs.. ;D.

I have to start my studies for the Ambulance now, I'm a week behind already and I need to finish my first paper by the 14th of Sept when my first class begins, so I will only be in and out occasionally at least until I get the first exam out of the way..but before I go I just wanted to share this with you Our three AMG Angels

Take care
Hugs to you all
