Hi panda,

I don't have specific suggestions but a general remark. There's lots of stuff marketed out there for which big claims are made -- X supplement detoxifies your liver, Y herb cleanses your kidneys etc. Many of them are probably harmless and maybe even mildly beneficial. But for someone with HIV, I think it's best to check with your doctor(s) -- and other friends with expertise -- before putting something in your body (and this is even more true if you're on anti-HIV and other meds).

Good luck!

Jay
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

I don't know what to tell you about the chloresterol, I take fish oil pills but I don't know how bad yours is, I would suggest talking to your doctor. I use to be told that drinking  cranberry juice  would flush the kidneys, but I don't know if that was old wives tale or not. I'm sure someone will come along with something for you, either herbal or otherwise. I hope things get better for you.

I also have a creatinine problem, it's above normal most of the time i get my bloods done.  I found eating less red meat or high protein foods has helped to bring it down a bit, as was reccommended by my doc.  And yes, cranberry juice, or supplements can help with kidney function, some people swear by it.

Cheerios and oatmeal are 2 things that lower bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol.
