For those 50 and over.....
« on: February 01, 2007, 07:31:05 pm »
Did you see the little extra "POZ Focus" mag that came with the Feb/Mar issue of POZ?   It's titled Your Best Years - What you need to know about managing HIV after 50.

Our own Tim (Moffie), who just turned 60 in January, is featured in this supplement, in an article called "Young At Heart."

I enjoyed reading it Tim, and congratulations on being the subject of a great article!

May you always stay Young At Heart......

Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you
If you're young at heart
For it's hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind
If you're young at heart

You can go to extremes with impossible schemes
You can laugh when your dreams fall apart at the seams
And life gets more exciting with each passing day
And love is either in your heart or on its way

Dont you know that its worth every treasure on earth
To be young at heart
For as rich as you are its much better by far
To be young at heart

And if you should survive to 105
Look at all you'll derive out of being alive
Then here is the best part
You'll have a head start
If you are among the very young at heart

"Remember my sentimental friend that a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." - The Wizard of Oz

Well I'm in the over the hill gang. The test that they have scheduled for me sure proves it. Stress test, colon tests more MRI testing. Yeah I'm over the hill. Good write up Tim.

I'm not quite 50 yet. Still have six months - and counting.

But, I think that's close enough. I thought Tim's article was great. Tis true, he is young at heart.

Actually, I thought the entire supplement (POZ Focus) was pretty good. I intend to give a copy to my doctor.

HUGS,

Mark
