Another bible thumping hypocrite caught with his pants down. Check out his website where he rails against Hollywood and his sponsoring of the defense of marriage act. Course it is all good, he admits his sin and his new found faith, conveniently after the phone records have been released. I'm running out of room on my Republican pervert list.

President Clinton, for all his faults, never made a statement referring to a town in his home state as, "It's the crossroads where Katrina meets Rita. I always knew I was against same-sex unions."

It's not really the Republican label that makes something like this inherently hilarious. It's the socially conservative "It's OK for me to visit whorehouses but not OK for you to have the buttsex" mentality... a sort of mind-bendingly hypocritical mentality that makes this all the more amusing.

Thus, were this to happen to say... Rudy or even John McCain... that schadenfreude just wouldn't be there... for the simple reasons that Republican owners of more libertarian or liberal social policies that don't tell people that sex is bad and generally don't try to legislate their sexual morality on the rest of us.

This is nothing more than an insidious plot by Hillary Clinton and Obama Barack to smear a reputable God-fearing man. I'm appalled that you folks cannot see through this obvious conspiracy.

Deliciously, Larry Flynt of Hustler is having a news conference today with a bit of information about dear Mr. Vitter. Seems Mr Flynt was the reason the hypocrite got outed. Stay tuned, this is going to get good. Hopefully, the good Senator will have to resign...just like he suggested Bill should have done for getting a BJ.

In Vitter's defense, he has more than his political future to worry about right now; he could lose his manhood.

His wife, Wendy, told Newhouse News Service in 2000 that if her husband cheated on her, she would react less like Hillary Clinton and more like the Manassas woman who cut off her sleeping husband's penis in 1993. "I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary," Wendy Vitter said. "If he does something like that, I'm walking away with one thing, and it's not alimony, trust me. I think fear is a very good motivating factor in a marriage."

Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) showed up at the hearing room to substitute for the absent ranking Republican. "I've never judged a human being on those type of issues," attested Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) as he ducked in for lunch with Cheney and GOP colleagues, sans Vitter.

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), approached by a group of reporters outside the lunch, offered an unexpected defense. "All of us have to look at it and say that we could be next," he said in answer to a Vitter question. "We all think that we're not vulnerable to something like that happening, but the fact is this can be a very lonely and isolating place."

Yikes. Might other senators be on the Madam's list? Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) jabbed a playful elbow at the questioner. "Note a swift elbow to the ribs," he instructed.

Vitter campaigned specifically on the fact that he'll "reflect the values of Louisiana, not Massachusetts". Considering that Massachusetts has the lowest divorce rate in the country, I'm sure he was telling the truth.

Here at home, Vitter tried unsuccessfully last month to re-authorize the Title V Abstinence Education Program to continue abstinence-only sex ed in schools.

I watched the live interview last night ( or early this morning),, with Larry F. and Wendy Cortez, on the Abrams Show Apparently Vitter was with her as much as 3 times a week, for a perod of 4 months. This is what she stated on the interview. HHmmmmm.....

WASHINGTON -- The "D.C. Madam" served a subpoena Tuesday on Sen. David Vitter, R-La., requiring him to testify about his use of the Washington, D.C., escort service federal prosecutors say was a prostitution ring.

The subpoena calls on the freshman senator to testify at a federal court hearing Nov. 28 looking into the business operations of the $2 million escort service Deborah Jeane Palfrey operated in the nation's capital for 13 years.

Vitter has acknowledged being a client of Palfrey's company, Pamela Martin & Associates, and his telephone number appeared six times in the firm's phone records between 1999 and 2001, when he was a member of the House of Representatives. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004.
