Unprotected Oral Sex with local prostitute
« on: November 22, 2017, 01:18:42 pm »
Hello, thanks for approving me to the forums!

I had Unprotected Oral sex with a local prostitute on October 20,2017. Since she is indeed a prostitute, lets assume that she is hiv positive and is unable to afford treatment for her infection. So before she performed oral sex on me I asked her if she had any type of diseases and she said no of course but she could have been lying so she can get her money, so I let proceed to give me a blow job. About two or 3 minutes into the blow job I felt like a shock/shiver go down through my urethra and bladder, I stupidly ignored it and let her continue to perform oral sex on me. After about 10 minutes or less she told me that my time was up or whatever and asked me for some more money in order to make me ejaculate but I said no of course, I wasn't going to give her any more money of my money for her weak performance. So after that I went home immediately after realizing that I did something so stupid and risky. As soon as I got home I scrubbed myself so hard and even dumped a cup of rubbing alcohol on my penis(Yes, it Burned).

Maybe about two or three weeks later I started getting day long headaches everyday for an entire week. Now I don't really get them anymore but now i'm starting to get tiny cramps and aches around my body in various spots, sometimes in the same area mostly and I think that it's all in my head but I can't be sure after googling symptoms of early hiv infections.

The reason I haven't tried to get tested yet is because, I see online that the transmission risk of hiv from oral sex is so low that there really is no point in getting tested but these symptoms got me paranoid now and I wan't to believe that is all in my head but idk anymore!

Please give me some guidance!

HIV can affect anyone regardless of Class, Wealth, Social standing, Sexual orientation, Race, Ethnicity, Gender or Age.  HIV is simply a virus and doesn't care about such matters. I don't care about such matters either.

People are not high, low or no risk, the activities you engage in and how you do it are a risk or not. So it's not who you do it with, it's how you do it, so cut out putting people into risk groups and worry instead about your behaviors .

Your HIV risk assessment:

Receiving a BJ is not how HIV is transmitted, no drama required, simply move on with your life. - Don't post about this no risk scenario again, I can not help you here.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

Whoa, you sound triggered. I wasn't trying to offend or discriminate against anyone. I was trying to give the worst case scenario, that's it.

But thanks for your quick response.

Well you don't upset or offend me at all, if that is what you mean. Your post however comes across as unnecessarily dramatic, and overall just plain "crass"

I have given you the facts that she was not a risk to you. She never was. I hope armed with this knowledge you can learn from this, be less judgmental next time and perhaps better understand people are not risks, your own behavior can be.  On a whole in this case your behavior was not a HIV risk to you as HIV is simply not transmitted this way.

This is a risk assessment page so I can't help you with your other problems.
