one week have passed on with the fact that I'm HIV positive.. this was the hardest week in my life, and I now, there will be more hard days in front of me.. "I,m 29 years old, CD4,s count 412, viral load still don't have the results" ... so.. is this will be my first sentence when I'll be introducing my self in the future? ;( I live in a small country so many of the medication that are using in HIV treatment are not available in my country :(  Have thousands of questions, thousands of thoughts, but as time goes by I hope answers will come and thoughts will be settled..

(sorry for my bad English)

I'm unclear what you mean by this.  Do you mind expanding and explaining what you mean?

On a side note Welcome! Things do get better.  You will be okay.  If you have any questions just ask, there are a lot of helpful people here.

Hi Chico,

Sorry you tested poz, but glad you found your way here.

Everyone here is very supportive and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Also, you can come here and vent whenever you feel like it.  :)

It is totally normal for your mind to race and be consumed with negative thoughts when you're diagnosed but in time you will feel normal again. Millions have gone thorugh this and you will too.

Hang in there buddy. And Welcome :)

Which country are you from?

I meant that from now on everything will be based on CD4 count and VL :-\ Almost every post here contains that information  :'(  But that is normal I suppose.

I'm from Macedonia (small but beautiful country in the west of Balkan with 59 cases of HIV+ and just one doctor specialist for HIV infection)

Thank you to all for your support. I'll need any kind of help. I'll keep posting

Thank you to all. You are very supportive and you already helped me a lot.

I'm feeling great today.

I told my brother about my infection and I also told him about my sexual orientation. That helped me a lot. Now hi is the only one who knows everything about me and his reaction about everything I told him was above my expectation. We are spending more time together  :D

The only thing that I'm worried now is the ART. My country is not a member of EU, and we are using medication that are not using anymore anywhere  :o So my doctor told me that when the time will come to put me on ART, the scariest thing will be the side effects from the medication. Now I don't now the names of the medications that are using here but I will inform you soon as possible.

Cheers to all

That sucks.  Yes please get the names.

Maybe they aren't all that bad.
Also, there are generic good drugs, but that all depends on one's budget.

I remember she said that it's about generic drugs, 4 mixed drugs and 5 single drugs. Drugs are made in India

I think this is a very small choice  :-\

Today I went to my appointment to my doctor and she told me next three (3) months there is no need for therapy, till my next blood check up (still don't have result for VL)
Also I told her to send me by mail the list of the drugs that are using here. So, soon as I get the list I will inform you. I would need help for that issue

Cheers to all
