3rd surgery in 3 months
« on: July 14, 2008, 05:36:17 pm »
Hi there,

I have just returned home from the hospital, after having had shouldersurgery .
The surgery to "shave off" some bonecysts inside my shoulder was successful.

I was under full narcosis for almost three hours.....so, still feeling the side effects of that, being tired and dazed.

This is, I hope the final surgery this year....

In may, I had malign skinmelanoma removed from my back, and in June a second tumor from my leg.

Glad to see they did not shave any vital parts away.....................but, I look like some gorilla, with part of my chesthair shaved off...

kissss

Herman, you're having quite a year aren't you honey?   You're breaking all my rules....the "EVEN NUMBERED" years are supposed to be 'clear'.   Save the problems for the odds.....

Nevertheless, I hope this is the END of the surgeries for awhile ( a LONG while).

Speedy recovery hugs,

Alan  :-*

I hope that all these surgeries are succesful. Is the cause of these tumors and such HIV related?

Take care, Hermie.  I'm so sorry you're dealing with a multitude of health stuff, but happy to read you seem to be coming through it all intact.  I'll be thinking of you most assuredly.

Thank you all for the get-well wishes.

The pain is bearable with medication.
I hope to be up and running soon again.

Hermie,

I'm sorry that you are having so many procedures done in one year's time.  I hope your healing time is short in each case.
