Merry Christmas!

Larry and I had a Christmas Eve party with my mom, brother and his wife, and my best friend and his mom yesterday. We had a good time with BBQ, Christmas cookies and games. I wanted to make sure to celebrate with my mom yesterday so I had today free. For the last 5 years, we've celebrated Christmas Day with my friend and his mom. that party is filled with too much champagne, steaks grilled out, weed and even a few cigarettes for me that I'll bum off my friend's sister. WooHoo. so I clearly didn't want my mom around for this drunk, high, smoking celebration. LOL

Happy Holidays to everyone during any celebrations you'll be a part of over the next week!! Take care, stay safe, don't eat too much, and give everyone you love a big hug!!

Sounds nice.

I'm visiting my parents for the first time in decades, so far so good, haven't tried to kill eachother yet.

As I have just passed my 2nd year of knowing of my infection - and dealing with the mental anguish ( the physical side has been just fine ), I wanted to thank everyone on here for your support, kindness and patience - and hammering home a few home truths. You are my only source of support - as I still have chosen to keep this very close to my chest, of course with the exception of medical people. So, thank you and every one else on here for all that you do, and to let you know it is appreciated. Words are cheap, I know - but your words have helped me through probably the most difficult period of my life. Thank you, and I wish nothing but the best for 2025 and beyond for all of you. A very humbled thank you.

I LOVE superaids! Roflmao

Ugh. Happy holidays from just before a funeral here. While I haven't known Fred too long, this is sad but not too sad...though I'm not trying to speak I'll of the dead. An 5 yrs old man passing away before he could get any worse off is a blessing. It all just reminds me though if how utterly fantastic it is and how happy I am that it's not me burying my 56 yr old husband today. I need to have another 30 yrs with Larry first before I tie with my mom on burying three husband.

Ok, on to happy things. Everyone traveling  (Jim and Tonny et al) I wish you safe speedy returns home and a happy 2025!!!

Happy holidays everyone!

Even if I'm not actively participating much lately, I still come here regularly to keep myself updated and connected. This forum has been of tremendous help throughout the first years after my diagnosis, almost 7 years ago.

Hugs
M.
