Hello,

I've done that before. Actually a couple times I have done that. The minute I swallow them, I realise the mistake. I just take the other dose at the normal time. Then I eventually work it, to get it back the way it was, for the normal AM and PM dose. You'll be ok. What meds are you on?

Thats what I've done.  In the morning(8:00 Am) I take one Viramune and Epzicom.  In the evening I take the other viramune, and Viread.

I ususally find myself messing up, on the evening dose. When I am just waking up and not completely alert yet. Instead of taking the Viramune and Viread, I have a couple times taken a Viramune and Epzicom. Went right into the wrong compartment of the pill case !!

Anyway, I just ended up reversing the doses, when that happens, and somewhere along the road, I manage to get them back to their proper times again.

PS,

Also wanted to say, that when I have done that, I make sure to get the pills re-arranged properly in the pill case for that dosing schedule, until I am ready to make the switch again. I prefer to take the Epzicom in the morning and the viread at night.

Hello Fran,

So , what did you end up doing, in response to taking the wrong meds as scheduled ? Did you get situated back to taking the Sustiva at nighttime yet? Is everything back on routine again?

Take care----Ray

Thank you all for your help.  Actually I ended up then taking my morning meds at night and then the next day got back on track.
It was so weird because I do have a pill case and I actually saw that it was my night meds as I was putting them in my mouth but it did not register in my head.  It took a minute after I swallowed them.  Anyway, now I always look twice, which I always did before but I was just so tired.
Everything else has been fine so now it is a matter of paying attention. :-\
