Wouldn't know. SIV crossing over to humans from bush-meat, even if based on conjecture, forewarned against the repetition of the act.

Besides, look at it. It's so benign and wise looking.  :)

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of Oct 2nd, 2023, Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @676 /  CD4 % @ 18 %
Lymphocytes,absolute-3815 (within range)

This made me laugh Ray, I nearly chocked on my Cornflakes.

This is a great find, it's called a Lesula Monkey and is closely linked with the "Owl Monkey" that has been around for quite a while.

He has such a human face, I'm pretty sure that it's the only monkey that has white in the eyes like us, I think he's a handsome fella and dearly hope they manage to  survive.

I read the article in Yahoo News and it is pretty interesting find. The bad news is that they are already planning to save the monkey species.  I fear as usual that the more man interferes the less chance the species has to survive.  The article also stated that the original monkey in the article..."disappeared" and they feared it wound up in a local pot.

When I read of these new species discoveries I always post ...nice...now leave it the hell alone.  Just like the penis head fish they recently discovered in Vietnam.
