Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

Hi everyone, First I sorry for my poor english cuz I live in souteast asian that we don't speak english although I can read but speak or talk really hard for me.

 I had read HIV Transmission Lesson, anyway, I know HIV is very fragile, but I still worrying,  My concern is

I inserted my finger  into prostitue's vaginal and immediately I thought I rubbed my eyes with that finger so am I have a risk?

Corey, you are worrying unnecessarily. HIV is a very fragile virus. It is not transmitted in the manner about which you are concerned.

In fact the only confirmed means of transmitting the virus sexually are through unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you always use condoms for those activities you will be well protected.

You don't have to worry about infection through fingering or touching sexual parts.

No, I don't think testing is necessary.

The only reason for you to test is if you need the inevitable negative result just for your peace of mind because you did not have a real risk.

Yes, based on what you have reported I don't see any problem about HIV if you have unprotected intercourse with your girlfriend.

Move on with your life. Period.
