Do I Have HIV? / Re: Question about exposure
« Last post by Jim Allen on Today at 07:11:45 am »
Banned, you know what you posted wasn't an HIV risk.

Your only ongoing risks have been sex with your girlfriend. So ill remind you that if you engage in any condomless sex with your partner, you are at a greater risk of acquiring HIV. In relationships, condomless sex is often based on trust or past test results; however, this does not prevent HIV. Any condomless sex means accepting the greater risk of acquiring HIV, and you should consider testing more frequently.

Research News & Studies / mystery trial

Sunday afternoon (Australian east coast time) I received a call from my doctors clinic saying they are enrolling participants in a study.

It's for nonresponders. After 10 years of undetectable viral loads i can't crack 250 cd4s hopefully this new trial will find something that boosts cd4s. I don't know any details yet. Tuesday morning will be my first appointment.

I will maintain my currents. ARTs.

Don't think this bodes well. Their advisor - Ely Benaim used to be Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Sangamo.
Sangamo's  seemed to used similar technique for a "functional cure", similar dubious  marketing tactics with ultimately no end product to speak of.

Was excited to read this at first - but the fact that they haven't done any mice or primate studies is telling.

Gracias Jim.

Saludos cordiales

Jim

Estoy infectado? / Sexo oral insertivo
« Last post by oreipmaig on Yesterday at 02:29:25 pm »
Hola chicos buenas tardes.

Muchas gracias. Espero su respuesta para poder quedarme tranquilo
