Leaving Fang
« on: August 14, 2006, 09:56:57 pm »
This trip to Montreal will be the longest I have ever left her.   My brother will be coming by to feed her and play with her every day....she knows something is "up", as soon as I stack some neatly ironed and folded clothes on the bed getting them ready to pack, she climbs on top of them and makes herself ANOTHER bed... so I'll have cat hair on all my clothes....so a part of her will be there with me !

Do you think I could smuggle her in my carry-on?   I'd have to knock her out with something first.....

Remember that episode of the Munsters when Grandpa turned himself into a wolf and Lilly had to wear him as a fur stole to get him back home?  Maybe I could try that....

Hello Alanbama,

They know when we are about to leave. Mine is always giving me the '' look '' when I'm getting ready to go somewhere. Actually he will completely ignore me when I return, and for almost a week.  :-\

My mom will take care good care of him. He likes her a lot and following her around in the house like a doggy would do.

See ya soon Alan...

Wait till you get home Alan. You are gonna be in big trouble.  ;D

Maybe to help calm Fang's nerves you could leave her some dirty clothes, or something that has your smell all over it, to knead and claw at while you are away. It may stop her from scratching your sofa and furniture.

I already have a sticky roller in my carry-on Sue!   I'll "de-hair" before I get there.

Hugs,

Alan   :-*

PS - you guys are right, she will be IMPOSSIBLE to live with when I get back.
Maybe I'll buy her something nice....
