HIV FROM UNPROTECTED ORAL SEX!
« on: April 18, 2019, 07:03:47 am »

I'm a 29 year old guy. I had sex with a CSW. The vaginal sex was protected and condom was intact as i checked it after we got done but the oral sex was unprotected. She was giving me a blow job. Unprotected insertive oral sex. The oral sex lasted for about 10 mins. Exactly after 14 days of this i got down with a sore throat and fever. 101 degree fever. I went to my GP and he prescribed me antibiotics &  some other medicines, azithromycin 1000mg day 1, 1000mg day 2 and 500mg day 3. After starting with the antibiotics i got well the next day but still continued the antibiotics for the next day. Exactly after 3 days of completion of my antibiotic course i started having loose stools and dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite. I had lost around 4kgs in 1 week. My GP ordered a CBC test in which my WBC was only 4000. It's said that this is a sign of hiv infection. It almost took me 2 weeks to get back to normal. I am totally convinced that i am HIV+.
This cannot be a coincidence. Insertive oral got me hiv positive. I am scared to go and test because i know if i turn positive that would be the last day of my life. It has been almost 7 months after this incident. I haven't slept well, eaten well, i have lost all my friends as i don't wish to interact with anyone. All the time i am just searching and trying to convince myself that i am negative. Please please can you share your knowledge and tell me is this possible or may be all this was just a side effect of the antibiotic. Please help me. I want to live a normal life again. I beg i beg please throw some light and share your experience about what you feel. Please please please!

Hiya

Getting your penis sucked is no HIV risk whatsoever.

So you did not acquire HIV from this meaning if this was your one and, only sexual encounter in life than HIV is not an issue.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as safe in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for acquiring far easier to transmit STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

Thank you Jim.
I've read  alot about this. There have been some cases as well where HIV has been transmitted with this. The time range of the symptoms, the symptoms that i experienced are classic symptoms of acute hiv.

Look you need to stop talking nonsense/shit.

I understand you are not feeling well and perhaps are sick, however you did not acquire HIV from getting your penis sucked.  You might as well be calming to be pregnant from having your penis sucked!

Getting your penis sucked lacks the exposure to HIV, its simply a no starter for HIV transmission, also Saliva is not HIV infectious, it also contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV and there are another few issues/barriers to the conditions required and, hence it makes perfect sense that after nearly 40 years of this pandemic in terms of BJ's there hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the worlds first.

It lacks the biological conditions needed and, HIV transmission is always a biological event.

Classic would be to have none or at least not noticeable and, the ones you do have to be frank having nothing to do with HIV regardless of your status.

I wish you well, I don't know what other sexual activities you have engaged in however one thing is for sure getting your penis sucked was not a HIV risk.

Going forward keep use condoms for any intercourse and, test out of standard routine at least yearly for STI's & HIV.

Best. Jim
