I'm on Facebook, but I don't really have anything on my page, I just use it to look at my daughter's photos. (with her blessing!)

OK, and I'll figure out how to add you or whatever it is I'm supposed to do - not that there's much on my page though. I'll have to deal with it later, I'm going out for a while just now.

yep I know. Its kinda hard to explain how to do it from scratch but there are sites that have an easy copy and paste method of getting a layout. I think some might even make it easier than that.

queen I am pretty good with Myspace layouts.

Try
www.freelayouts.com

thats the one I usually use. Or you can just go to one of your friends page and click on their background and it will take you to the site that they use.

I recently deleted my Myspace page too. I only had my kid and some of his friends and my brother and a couple of his friends as buddies. I might make another one. I dont know.
I deleted it because the only people who where chatting at me where little kids and people I didnt want to talk to.
I had made it originally to keep tabs on my son but he is an adult now so I dont need to do that.

LOL I was so anti social the people who did want to talk to me I didn't want to hang around with.
In the 80's everyone was so wrapped up in material things and I was not interested in the mall or fashion. I didn't like other girls and the only boys who paid me any attention where goobers.  ;D

Aside from the few socialites that made time in their busy day to make fun of me of course. LOL

Man, I've changed quite a bit. Well, I still have no desire to keep up with fashion and rarely set foot in a mall but I'm pretty perky and friendly now compared to then.

Yes, this particular forum is only for women. That's why it's called the women's forum.

Why don't you start a thread in Off Topic about myspace/facebook?

Please don't post in this forum again. Thanks! :)

I finally got a background for my MySpace page. I have Keeping, Netta, Wishful, and Next2u as friends. If anyone wants to add me as their friend just PM me. As far as facebook goes, I didn't like it too much. I guess you can say I was popular in school but I ran with the black sheep of the school. I got into a lot of fights with girls from other schools because I went to catholic schools instead of public schools and most of the black girls considered me stuck up because of that and I wasn't. Never forget that I got in a fight on a public bus because of it.

What problems are you having? Maybe I can help, I think I have it figured out now. For the most part, if it is a layout thing, you usually have to copy the code and paste it in your "About Me" section.

That is what I did but the layout was coming out on my edit page and not on my home page, it was very wierd?

Hopefully, I will have better luck this time  ::)

I already am on my space but dont care too much for facebook. I find that the more sites I'm involved in the more i get sidetracked and lost. Thats why it's been so long since I was here many many months ago. Too much on my plate and I usually end up losing something......lol

Oh and as far as seeing any ol school friends , I wouldn't even go to my re-union. The only ones i was comfortable with were the druggies. The rest were to judgement and thought their poop didn't stink. And i doubt they are any different now...........Give me the seniors when I was a junior insted .....
Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere.
