That's cool that you know him. He's got the perfect (and I mean picture perfect perfect) personality for HGTV so I fail to understand when his on-camera skills are critiqued by the 3 judges. Granted, the critiques are minimal but again I really do feel he is tailor-made to be on HGTV. That Trish woman, who I understand didn't make it to the final 2, seemed forced/practiced in my opinion so I'm really glad that the 2 nicest people with the best skills are in the final 2. Which now makes 3 years in a row that this has happened. I guess the show has a good knack for getting rid of the bitchy drama queens thank goodness (and if you notice, the bitchy ones can never compare to the skills of Matt, Jennifer, Kim (Season 2))

Good luck to your friend, I'm a big fan of the show. I've been disappointed in the design "quality" of this year's batch of contestants. Very generic and furniture showroom in their design application. Course not all their fault, the design challenges have been very mundane, without must opportunity for creativity.

The show did give us this priceless moment of that insufferable little Queen Michael, crying for his mommy after getting the axe.

I say keep it running! :D Why, pray tell, was he sssooooooo bitchy toward Tracee? I think Vern knew Queen Michael was a bad apple from the auditions but went ahead and selected him anyway - manily for shits and giggles.  >:( Note to anyone who didn't see Trainwreck Michael - These clips are just snippets of the hell he caused on the show.

Isn't this the same show where one of the contestants was just put on leave from the police force in Miami because it was just exposed that he starred in a gay S&M porn film called "Rope Rituals"

(careful, girls... clicking on that 2nd link!)

Well I certainly hope that he doesn't get axed from the police force, especially if what his attorney says is true: "He's a great cop with a distinguished record of serving this community for many years," said Al Milian, Verdugo's attorney
What he legally did as a 21 yr old, shouldn't have a bearing on his life 12 years later.

I am sure many of us have a few things in our past that an employer might question.

True.  Unfortunately life doesnt always give out cookies and milk.  Shortly after a gay man was recruited into the Philadelphia police force, he committed suicide due to harassment on the job. This was 10 years ago maybe....

Yeah, and the really funny thing is that the rumors started circulating because one queen noticed this, posted about it on a web forum, then others researched it more and came up with lots of photos comparing tattoos, etc.  Then a blogger saw that thread and posted about it, and it was picked up by tons of other blogs.  Then somehow the Hollywood, Florida police found out.

I guess the moral of this story is that if one elects to make porn videos make sure you're day job employer is OK with it, because the internet is a small world.
