HIV Transmission Question
« on: January 22, 2017, 10:10:45 am »
Hello,

I had a quick question re: HIV transmission.

Would I be at risk from lapdances? I remained fully clothed while the female dancer was not wearing any clothing. No sex acts occurred, but the dancer did a lot of kissing/licking on my neck, ears and cheeks during a number of dances....not aware of any open wounds on me, but also not sure if I had any shaving nicks from the morning, or any broken pimples. She also simulated oral sex on my penis over my pants (light nibbles on the crotch area of my pants really) a number of times....my pants did get noticeably wet from her saliva soaking through (and I'm quite sure it was saliva as there wasn't really any "grinding" during the dance).

Finally, any risk from any small amounts of fluids she may have had on her hands after touching her vagina? If any got on my face, neck, or if any got on the rim of my beverage and I drank from it  (she was nice enough to hand me my drink a number of times). Or if any got from her hand to mine, and I rubbed my eyes?

Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!

Hi , You had absolutely no risk, the virus is very fragile and does not survive outside the body and exposed to air.
HIV is sexually transmitted though unprotected anal and vaginal intercourse...end of story. If this is your only concern it is safe to move on.

Best, Wade
