Recruiting women for research study about pregnancy
« on: February 23, 2015, 01:55:28 pm »
Hi everyone
Thank you for reading my post. I am a nurse researcher based in NYC. I am conducting a research study about having kids after diagnosis. I am recruiting men and women between the ages of 18-40. I have permission of the forum moderators (see below).

If you are interested in participating you can contact me through the forum. We'll figure out the best way to do the interview from there. There is a $ incentive for participating. All human subject approvals are in place from University Institutional Review Board.

Warm regards,
Lorraine

You should post in the Research News & Studies section and mention you have permission. Please check back regularly to see if anyone has questions. You can create an email alert for when anyone posts in the thread.

Regards,

Hi Lorraine, I have some questions:
1. Is your research limited to women living in the US?
2. What are the conditions for participation?
3.  Is it limited to women  who are already pregnant or is it open to positive women who are trying to become pregnant as well?
Thanks.
Karry
Take it a day at a time....and be positive about it too!

Hi Karry

The study is not limited to men/women in the US. I am interesting in women who recently had a child (2 years or less), women who are thinking about pregnancy or men who are discussing having a baby with their partner.

The incentive to participate is $40.00 and the interview will take about 1 hour. We can also do it via email, Skype, or Zoom.

I am in NYC so we would also have to look at the time. I'm at EST time zone.

Thank you SO much for responding! Please let me know if you have other questions.

Lorraine
