Bienestar, an organization serving Southern California's Latino LGBT, HIV-positive and at-risk communities, was evicted from its new Van Nuys offices two days after opening. The landlord allegedly told the organization they were "bringing disease" to the building.

Staggering. I couldn't believe this!
Might like to sign this causes page: https://www.causes.com/actions/1680029
More information can also be read on the Bienestar website.

Disgusting!!! A pox on the landlord's house and I hope he gets bad publicity internationally.

I'm glad you posted this as I'd not seen this. It is horrible and I would never have expected California to be the location of such a scene. They'll wish they kept this tenant by the time it's over and Bienestar will have plenty of advocates come to the fore in California.
