Title: Privacy Warning
Post by: Dwayn20 on March 10, 2009, 10:41:55 pm
Twenty year ago I would tell very few people that I was sick Which was hard to keep the secret when your getting test in a emergency room. Wow how things have changed being HIV Positive- are having AIDS is like having Diabetes[.I go to my appointments an listen to the Newbies like you all put it and sometimes I get a little upset when I here all the bitching going on if only they had no clinic to go to like when I first got tested I,ll bet they would whistle a new tune. They just don,t realize their history an all the people had to do years past. For all most five years I had to hop on the greyhound bus to get to New Orleans which was the closes clinic that's 133 miles one way an had to do this sometime two an three times monthly. But my grandmother raised me.She all ways said bite your tongue if you can,t say any thing nice but when you taste blood let them have it.  b][/b]

Dwayn20,

I love your Grandmother's advice:

"Bite your tongue if you can't say anything nice, but when you taste blood let them have it."

I had a rather feisty grandmother myself who didn't back down. Don't you lov'em?

But what do you expect for a French Cajun woman.Yes very hardheaded just like her grandson. Dwayn20 AKA(Scooter):)
