Title: Nice treatment story
Post by: atlanta05 on April 05, 2013, 08:29:24 pm
Just want to share my latest experience at the hospital.

My wife and I are about to move countries, and it will take "a few months" to get up and running with the new health insurance system. So my doctor agreed to prescribe the maximum amount of HAART allowed in this country, to cover that interval. He gave us a 6 month supply, plus an extra month left over from a moved-ahead appointment last year (yes, I rotate the bottles), plus a little left over from last times' supply because he made our last visit a little early. So all up, I have nearly 8 months' worth of Sustiva and Truvada. This is lucky. I'm going to donate any and all I can when the time comes.

Also, he gave me a refferal letter and a "report card" saying basically that my data is the best possible. Wow! No red numbers anywhere.

I guess this is a brag. Just wanted to share a happy HIV story.
