Wow!  Do testosterone injections cause some to get so enraged?  It seems like I've read where the injections can cause more issues like that than the gel.  Or, probably just his personality?  I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and maybe he'll regret the way he acted.  Regardless, I wish him the best.

Miss P was an angel in his remarks on the Miss P Scale.  I'm teasing you.  Seriously, I admire how you calmly responded to that word assault.  You didn't escalate it--just tried to explain your point of view.

Modified:  Maybe I shouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt.  It just dawned on me what he was talking about with the fried rice thing.  He obviously thought Miss P was a female and the avatar of an asian girl was an actual pic of Miss P.  I am a little slow sometimes.  It sounds like he may have something against Asians.  Still, I wish him the best and hope he works through all that.

David you banned him while I was popping the popcorn.  Now I'm gonna have to watch Seven while it airs on Bravo instead.

Several meds can cause rages. testosterone is one (among other roids). Atripla can also cause hostility and rage, along with depression and suicidal thoughts.

I thought about scoring roids at one point in my tainted past, but thought better of it. I am not prone to rages, but I think I wold make an exception if I developed loads of zits on my back.

Hormones are serious stuff. Holy shit that's becoming my mantra. But they are, Blanche, they ARE in that chair.

For those who need them, they can work miracles. For those who don't, they can be VERY dangerous.

One thing I have ALWAYS harped on, in this forum and in the real world, is that we should be ultimately responsible for researching what we put into our bodies.

We owe it to ourselves to know the risks, then assume them if we choose. We have the capacity to control what enters us to a great degree - From the hot body parts of beautiful auburn - haired circuit boys with blue eyes and chiseled abs (Miss you Michal) to HAART to that third helping of ice cream/vodka/meth/pot/sushi.

Everything in moderation, sez a wise old owl, even moderation. But know what you are doing. Research it. LISTEN to your friends when they mention altered personality,or your doc when blood levels start going wonky. One of the upsides to being a grownup is that, to a large degree (HFCS notwithstanding) we CAN understand and monitor and even decide what goes where.

And we can go on and do it, accepting the consequences, and take responsibility for the results. Roid rage, HIV, having to buy stretch jeans, going to jail for urinating off a church steeple, whatever.

Like I said to an acquaintance once, a long time ago. If you want to drink mountains of awful light beer and record your podcasts, that's up to you. But do not be shocked when footage of you, passed out on your sofa being dejectedly licked by your dog while your kitchen catches fire, is downloaded and preserved for eternity.

What pisses me off is that he is going to need this site for real sometime. I don't like flamewars like I used to. Mainly because so many of the people end up in dire need of the very advice - from the very people- they treated like shit.

I'm never saying I am without shadenfraude. Just not as much as I used to be. THAT was a man having a meltdown, and it is a safe bet it was regarding the very substance for which he was seeking advice.

I forget sometimes that drugs, legal and illegal, can have profound personality modification (and not always in the good way). Like I said, even Atripla can cause rages and hostility. It is a CNS side effect that is often overlooked because, well, people tend to have less sympathy for people who act like assholes.

But you know we have had people here flame out while on meth, or drunk, or on drugs (perhaps even sustiva and the like) that cause profound CNS effects. My fault, andI bet I have more than that, is presuming that the other parties are in their right mind. More or less sober, and in control of their actions and emotions.

Sadly, I forget about Meth, and the hostile side of Sustiva/Atripla, and roids. It is not always so Over The Top, so it goes under my radar. It is always a jolt to realize that I have been having a discussion-slash - debate -slash - feud with someone who is under the influence of a mind-altering substance.

Miss P had it exactly right when he asked a member in another thread why s/he was so angry. Had his head bitten off, but it was the legitimate - and the compassionate - thing to ask. I can learn a lot from Miss P. Am trying to, even.

As for this thread, I am sorry for further derailment.I have no personal experience with testosterone levels. I hope that those who are enduring that deficiency are led to wise people who can help them make the best choices.

Oh wow, I just saw that myself.  I was too busy pondering his fixation with lesbians.  Methinks there was some bourbon flowing or something.

You were not the only ones.  It was rather secondary to his obsession with fecal matter (let us not forget that his only previous post was something about neon green stools) and dildo-wielding leslies.  Fascinating indeed.

Will-

I definitely wouldn't lick it up. Testosterone, when taken orally, can really screw up your liver. However, feel free to rub the oil on your junk. I know a lot of transguys do that with some of the testosterone oil that leaks out. Supposedly it can help you grow, lol. And in the future, store your vials right side up silly boy. And yes, the fried rice comment was oh so classy. I was quite impressed *sarcasm*.

We don't actually like to ban people from this website, although sometimes we have to when people get really nasty and threatening. But that doesn't mean we are going to allow that banned member to be bashed in absentia. So with that in mind, I'm locking this thread.

If people have more questions about any aspect of testosterone treatment, start a new thread on the subject. (but not on the subject of Pecker, ok?)
