Nutritional supplements

(and i dont mean stuff like ensure)..

but what nutritional supplements should someone with hiv takes?

note: he is very healthy - tcells always 800+ VL = udetec.... he does not like and will not fruit (Please spare the lecture!!

This will probably get moved, but I'm going to reply anyway.

I take a general multivitamin/multimineral. I also take selenium, which my doctor said helps support the immune system (clinically supported evidence). Additionally I take fish oil upon recommendation of my doctor. These three were the only things he said were truly supported by conclusive scientific evidence.

I take flax seed oil, garlic, and green tea extract of my own accord due to the purported therapeutic properties. I'm not sure how effective these are, but my doctor says they won't hurt me, and they aren't too expensive, so I'll keep them going in, lol.
