I forgot about that!

I think 7 years ago I was in New England having a big barbeque( or cookout as you call it!) and a big fireworks display. Was fab.

put the brisket in the oven an hour ago, and all the fixings' are on the way.

Have a happy 4th....and be careful not to: blow your hands off with firecrackers, catch your dresses on fire with sparklers, or shoot an eye out with bottle rockets.  ;)

Happy Independence Day !

I watched the fireworks in the rain....my favorite are the ones that, after they explode, shower down in glittery streams.....and the ones that 'sizzle' after they explode, and look like fireflies.....

I hope all had a nice and safe 4th.  Fireworks were spectacular this year.
