Bleeding during sex
« on: June 05, 2016, 09:45:04 pm »
Let me start this off by saying I have not had sex in a VERY LONG time and am not very experienced sexually.  With that being said, recently I had sex with someone.  We have been friends for 15 years and he has known about my status for about 2 years.  I had told him when things looked like we might get into a relationship, but that never worked out, so we remain friends.  He was very understanding and had no problem with my status.  When we had sex, when he entered I started bleeding.  He was wearing a condom and took it off using a tissue, but was of course worried.  He showered immediately and I cleaned everything up.  My viral load is undetectable and my CD4 is 700.  In my head I know the risk for transmission is extremely low, but I would like to hear other's thoughts on it.  Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about it since he had a condom on. My husband had so much of my blood on him for over a year before we found out I am positive and he never caught it but you're undetectable so you know it's nothing to worry about.

Thank you.  I knew that, but needed to hear it from someone else.
