how much dose your meds cost on medicare?

so I got medicare and could lose Medicaid  so I want to know how much your script cost on just medicare? im taking stribild and about to switch to the new version, I have taken truvada norvir and presista before and could switch back if needed. whatever hiv drug you take and how much it cost you would give me a better idea how big of an issue it would be to lose Medicaid.

It depends . You may be able to qualify for ADAP if you lose medicaid and that will help you while you are in the doughnut hole before your part d kicks in. Google your states ADAP program and see what the income limit is . It anything under 50 K a year where I live, maybe a little more  .

Go to http:// www.medicare.gov; Make sure it says "Official Government Website for Medicare".

Under the first tab (sign up/change plans), click on "Find Health And Drug Plans". Under “General Search” near the top; type in your zip code and follow the steps 1 through 4.  You should see an estimated cost for your drugs for different plans. 

The estimated annual drug cost includes the premium, deductible if there is one, any co-pays and coinsurance, and any non covered drugs.
