Question about Gilead Co-Pay assistance
« on: January 26, 2016, 08:34:12 am »
Hey everyone.  Quick question about my co-pay card.  I'm starting year 2 of treatment, and I just ordered my first 3-month rx refill for 2016.  Of course, express scripts doesn't bother themselves with the co-pay assistance, so I have to pay the $3800 co-pay (which meets my deductible for the whole year) and apply for reimbursement directly with Gilead... my question is, do I have to get a new card each year, or can I just use the same card number from last year?

No new card,  your benefits automatically start over on Jan 1. They'll reject you if you attempt to activate a new card.  Sorry the pharmacy is making you go through this extra headache.

Thanks mighty sure.  That's what I suspected but wanted to make sure.

Bkkkevin, I've got the website bookmarked on my home computer... I'll post it later if no one beats me to it.  It's pretty easy... Print out a form and send it in with a copy of the receipt and the bottle labels and you get a check back in a week or so.  Almost too good to be true :)
