I recorded both.  I really just want to see what info they give out and whether they give bad info, like has happened on other shows like The View.

Here is a clip from November 2015 on the Charlie Sheen matter with a Doctor weighing in.

He stopped his traditional HAART treatment for some quack doctor in Mexico who said he cured Charlie. I hope this part isn't true, but the "doctor" stated he was so sure that he had cured Charlie that he injected himself with some of Charlie's blood...HIV or not, that should end the conversation right there about this individual's legitimacy and I would've went back on my meds right then and there.
People Magazine is saying that he's went back on them since the taping of that episode, which was Dec 8.
So weird as I was arguing with a user on these forums about stopping medication.  I mean, it's not saying a whole lot, but Charlie was seeking alternative treatment and not just giving up, but I'm strong believer in western medicine, I'll wait on the FDA approved cure. And Charlie should know better. He's rich. People will tell him anything to get his money.

I had intended to watch it but I developed a chest or throat cold... I fell asleep and missed today's entire episode... seeing the doc tomorrow.

Wow.  That's all I can say

Very sad I just heard all of this.

The quack doctor he found in Mexico sounds insane.  Charlie says he took blood from an abscess on his elbow and injected the blood into himself...

First off if that "doctor" was taking Truvada or some sort of prep then maybe he felt confident enough to do that to keep Charlie interested and a believer in whatever he is pushing on him.

Can see Charlie is not that bright these days...  Instead of just following his medication which was keeping him UD he is believing doctors in Mexico just because they inject his blood?  Yikes Charlie.

Did it seem like he had cognitive issues?  I thought I was seeing slight issues, from the first episode.

Charlie Sheen was doing what so many try to do...stop HIV via other options rather than HAART.  He did say he went back on meds, so if that's true, that's good.  I would have hated for him to say he was not back on meds and send that message to newly diagnosed people who would tend to follow that route.

I know when I was diagnosed back in '89, we were trying all kinds of things to rid ourselves of the virus.  I used to have a whole box of supplements I would take every day.  The result?  Expensive pee and nothing else lol.  There were so many other things, from "detoxification" to visualization to whatever was being toted as a possible "cure."  So many snake doctors that made so much money.  Like that doctor in Mexico who claimed to have cured Sheen.

Hopefully HIV+ people watched the whole interview and heard that he is back on meds.  I thought, other than that, he handled himself okay but did seem a bit confused at times. Of course he could have been very nervous, who knows.  I didn't see the first part and didn't see the rest of the second part after Dr. Oz went over his liver function tests.

I was online and forgot he was on, I saw only the last 15-20 minutes of the 2nd show. His doctor was speaking about how much the inflammation in his body had increased after not taking meds.  I know having a viral load increases inflammation,
but he made it sound like it was being measured.

HIV or not,  injecting yourself with someone else's blood is just wrong. I'm glad he's back on his medicine though.  He has to realize ppl will tell him anything to get his money.

Charlie who? HI-what? Oh..is that STILL news?
Out here in Thailand it was news when first announced. after that, who cares. Unless he is doing something positive with his fame towards awareness, i`m not really interested and seem the media here isn`t either.
It is too bad he followed this quack doc when today we know so much about this disease...

Terry, on tv here there is a show called Dr. Oz (hosted by, you guessed it, Dr. Oz).  Charlie Sheen was interviewed and it was just broadcast last week.  So, we weren't bringing something up that happened a month ago, this just happened.
