.I really hope my body can handle this..

Your body can handle it a lot better than it can handle untreated HIV

I started 2 weeks ago on Atripla. 3 days in and I feel like my old self (pre infection) :D
I was a little dizzy first two days in the morning but if the feeling of well-being will persist as now, I am just looking forward the future.
As far as it goes no other side effects for me ;)

Good luck and stay positive-positive

i wonder where this fear came from.  Even before I had my treatment consultation with my doctor, I was hoping in the back of my mind that I wouldn't get prescribed Atripla.  All for no good reason either.

My doctor gave me a choice since it was my first time going on treatment..I chose Atripla since it was just once a day at bedtime..And I am still keeping my HIV a secret unfortunately so I wouldn't have to be seen by co-workers or family taking meds during the daytime hours..I go for my first lab appointment next week to check my numbers for the first time since starting...I'm a little anxious to see how it's doing
