Hi Forum.

I will jump right in and to the point.
Two weeks ago i was out having a few pints, and left with a lady and went to her apartment.
To be on the safe side we both washed our bits. She then proceeded to give me a short bj when she stopped and said that I was pre-cumming in her mouth. We then stared to kiss while I masturbated her. Before intercourse she put a condom on me, and proceeded to have sex in a few positions. The condom did not break and all seemed ok, until she demanded cash, to my horror she was a hooker.

During the last couple of days I have had a single sore gland under my chin, shortness of breath, and today found small sore and small red spots in my mouth.

I am a very cautious person by nature and have had sex with only four woman (I am 39 years old), including the deceiving slapper. 

I am sure you have read this a million times, however, please indulge me with a reply.

You had protected intercourse and that's not a risk for HIV .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I have read and understood your reply and have read many more threads.

The spots look quite similar to images on the net which lead me to start questioning myself 'am i infected?'

Please could you clarify?

As Jeff G has already explained to you have nothing to worry about regarding HIV.

If were you I would stop looking up images of spots on the internet, all that does is stress you out, spots are not a sign nor a symptom of HIV.

Just a little piece of advice for you, you have to remember you actually agreed to go home with this lady regardless of her not disclosing her profession, but on here we like to refer to them as sex workers..not slappers

Again you have nothing to worry about in regards to HIV.

Jan is correct , your problems are not related to HIV and could be caused by a score of other more likely conditions than HIV .

The testing window period is 6 weeks post exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results . You DO NOT need to test over this no risk encounter but you can test for peace of mind if you insist .
