extremely worried
« on: July 11, 2009, 12:57:40 pm »
Dear andy and ann

i will really appretiate if you can give me in detail about the risk of hiv transmission in my case . two days back i had three pimples on below by penis. they burst open leading out all the pus. now it was an open sore with no blood just little burining sensation i had sex yesterday night with a  condom on it seems after i finished i got her vaginal fluid on my open pimple sore. what is my risk of having hiv . also i went back home and put after shave and it burnt does that mean that the sore was deep enough for the virus to go in . the condom was not covering it. as the pimple sore were below the shaft on where hair grows it must have not gone into to the woman only her vaginal fluid was later found on it.
shouldi get tested
when youll say that only transmission takes place is through unprotected sex that means that the virus goes only though the mucus membrane is that right can it go through cuts and sores

does the cut have to be bleeding profusely to transmit the virus into yourself

Your risk was zero. HIV is not transmitted via pimples.

Nicks, cuts, sores, pimples and such, none of those things are risks for HIV transmission. Zero.

Just always continue using condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse and you will be well protected as far as sexual risk for HIV transmission.

Cheers.

hey guys sorry to trouble youll again

i has sex again with the same lady yesterday . i  had pimple sore which were healing . there was no presence of blood. i am very worried and going nuts. while having sex she started on her periods. all the blood came on my wound. what are the chances of getting hiv . should i get tested . i am married can i continue having sex with my wife.
i had protected sex with her with the condom the condom was intact . i was researching the other websites it says that it is a possibility that i can get hiv through an open wound when blood contact can you give me some scientific reason that it cannot happen and this forum says that only with unprotected  sex can you get hiv.
does the wound have to be bleeding for the transmission to occur. my wound is at the base of my penis .
please i respect everyone answer on this forum and i really appretiate it .

kid,

Your pimple was healing, according to what you wrote. You didn't have a risk.
