  • Hi...
My viral load went up...
« on: August 25, 2012, 07:40:32 pm »
I went to my doctor yesterday and my viral load went up to 29 from below 20. I am hoping it goes down again by my next visit in four months. But on the bright side my cell count went up over 200 and my triglycerides went down from over 200 to 169. I just need to work on getting my triglycerides to below 150 now.

Idee, that sounds like nothing more than a blip. Keep in mind that only a couple years ago the UD threshold was 500 - and on the test used then, you'd still be UD. Don't sweat it.

Glad to hear your CD4s went up over that 200 mark and that you're getting your triglycerides under control. Keep up the good work!

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
