Bad dream
« on: October 16, 2007, 05:45:08 am »
Today i have a follow up appointment with the surgeon, just to see if everything is OK. No big deal a piece of cake so to speak. hell Ive already went through the surgery.
Last night i had a dream i went for the follow up, and something was wrong. She had doctors hold me down and was cutting on me, damn dream was so real. Woke up soaking wet and almost didn't make it to the potty to toss my cookies.
Its been a few hours and I'm still shaking, coffee is finally staying down. I'm afraid to lie down to get a bit of sleep, but I'm dog tired. Some time the bad dreams pick up where they left off.
I have posted about bad dreams before but this one make the others seem pale by comparison.

Hey Lucas, it's really bizarre that when I got to the "living with" forum, I see "Bad Dream" as a thread title.  I, also had a terrible dream.  Well, I don't know if it was terrible in the psychological sense.  I'm sure I am just doing some grieving.  I had a dream about my mom.  She was in her last days, but it was different than how it actually happened.

She was walking around and all of a sudden, she knew she was almost gone and told me she felt terrible and wished it were all over.  Then she called my doctor so I could talk to someone.  Not sure what that last part was about.  Maybe the universe's way of having me doing some actual grieving in the dream before I woke up.

Anyway, I sympathize with you, my friend.  The mind can be terribly tricky sometimes.  Hope you're resting well.

Intense. I've never physically reacted on that level because of a dream.
BTW, I noted on my calendar, your B-Day was yesterday, Happy Birthday. I wish you sweet dreams.

It must be in the air.  I woke up to a bad dream, too.  Mine was just a bad dream; Rod's right, you had a nightmare!  I was actually glad that the alarm went off at 5:15, as I could end it then.  If it had been a funny or stupid dream, I'd have just hit snooze.  I'm sure glad that these are all just dreams, especially yours!

I've always had very vivid and detailed dreams all my life. The last few months, I've had some beauties !

The kind when you wake up and wonder for a few minutes, what the hell is going on..   :-\

Had the follow up appointment.
Dr.Huang come in the room and i broke out in a cold sweat. How this pretty little lady who was sooo nice, was now the diabolical Dr. Huang is beyond me.

The news was all good, hopefully the last time i see her.

By the way folks she is very nice.
