Help Develop New Drugs For HIV

Hey Guys and Gals

Here's an easy way to advance HIV research. Theres a protease inhibitor project running on:

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org

Basically, you install a program and it runs in the background, processing raw data received over the net and then sending it back. Basically, it's screening a huge panel of prospective anti-HIV compounds for further testing. It works really well on my low-spec machine, and doesn't slow it down at all.

Anyway, my experience of this has been really positive. I've joined the team "HIV+" and it's pretty satisfying to see my results tot up. It makes me feel a bit lazy actually, but I'm psyching myself up for something bigger!

btw I'm happy to hear from anybody with any questions. The website gets pretty complicated, and I just read enough to get set up, which is easy enough.
