Hermie will be coming to visit me for 5 days. His flight lands in Nashville at 5:35 PM on Wed. He will be here for 5 days. We plan on visiting Brian in Nashville Sat-Sunday then he flies out of Nashville on Monday @ 1:30 PM. I am counting the seconds until he arrives.

I am so looking forward to seeing my Herman again!!!! It will certainly be a welcome change from the drudgery of work, to take a few days off and visit with friends. I have not had the pleasure to meet Dan yet, but definitely welcome the chance. Be careful guys, and hope to see you soon.

Hermie is here!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to show him the "sights" of West TN, not that there are "that many to see", LOL. today I have a doctors appointment then we are going to Union City to meet my friend Kevin that I have known since grade school. Friday we are going to Memphis for the day & to my favorite sushi restaurant with my niece Emily & my friend Dean that I have known for 24 yrs. Saturday & Sunday we will be back in Nashville to visit with Brian & Lestat...

Hi y'all,

I am having a great time over here in Jackson TN.
Got a warm welcome by Dan's parents. Very nice folks indeed.

Tasted some cornbread, meatloaf and mashed potatoes already.

Dan looks as cute as ever.
I know he has many more warm sides he has not yet showed me. They are covered by grie and pain form 20 years HIV. I just hope I can make them shine again.

Later on we are driving up to Brian (quarter horse) in Nashville> Can't wait to see him and hug him again.

Herman had his first piece of corn bread yesterday & his first "real southern" barbeque sandwich. My parents love him to death. I knew they would. How could they not love someone as sweet and wonderful as him?Today he met my friend Dean & my neice Emily. We went to Memphis and walked around downtown. Saw Beale Street, midtown & then ate at Sakura in Germantown before driving home. My neice gave me the seal of approval. She calls him Uncle Herman already! Saturday we will go see Brian, that should be fun!

I know that my husband Patrick and his lover Dirk are spending the weekend together in Knokke. So they will be fine when Patrick starts to miss me too much. lol

And my Lola is there to keep them company.
What more can he ask for when I am destressing with Dan for a couple of days.

Will give Brian & Lestat big hugs and kisses for you. Brian is a real sweet heart. I am very glad I have had the oportunity to meet him. Hopefully I will be able to see him again very soon.

We are hanging around Brian's house today. It's a little chilly here today so we are going to stay in, eat lunch and watch movies & talk.

Herman & I had a wonderful, but short visit. My parents fell in Love with him. We had a wonderful time at Brian & Randy's house. We didn't get out much , just stayed in and visited, played with the dogs. We met Brian's father 7 older brother. They are very nice people. Met Adam, the guy Brian is dating & a nice guy Jerry. Lestat the gorgeous Doberman is a giant puppy & Scooby the sweet little Jack Russell mix stole Hermie's heart.

Herman and I atge breakfast this AM then I dropped him off at the Nashville airport. He called me about an hour after I dropped him off. His flight has been delayed and will probably not leave Nashville until later in the afternoon. I was too far away to turn around, but if I had known sooner I would have gone back to be with him for a few more hours.

Hopefully the sale of the business will be final by the end of this month & Herman will be able to come back for Thanksgiving... My fingers are crossed hoping that will happen.

FYI- Don't fly United Express unless you want delays seems to be a very poorly organized airline.

I'm so sorry I haven't chimed in until now, but I'm so glad you two were able to have this time together!!! You are both such sweet people, and this is but one of many adventures you have ahead of you. Look back for the good memories, look ahead for what the future holds for you two. I love you both!!!
