"Thanks"
« on: March 30, 2011, 04:39:01 pm »
Hi this is my only my second posting on this forum, my first being {Numbers Not Looking Good) and thanks too everyone who spent the time replied to that post, I just wish id had the courage to post when diagnosed last May It would have helped me with the roller coaster of emotions iv had to take on board, and boy the last ten months have been hell denial guilt and the feeling of disgust, my way of coping was to shelve the problem forget about it but of course every three months there's that hospital appointment and that cannula  in your arm that soon reminds you why your there and if your ever going to come to terms with this life changing condition . Started my meds on Monday just dropped my third Atripla ,took me the weekend to to prepare my self  to start taking them sorry if I sound full of self pity but up until now really felt well alone other than the hospital have not disclosed to anyone and wonder if I ever will , time will tell. I would just like to thank everyone who as shared there experiences of HIV and all those who reply to the post its made it easier for me to sort out some of the demons in my head and perhaps a place to meet some buddies I can be honest with Cheers Chris.

Welcome to the world of Atripla! It's one fabulous big pink pill  :) Sorry you are here but glad you are here at the same time. I have also had a myriad of emotions and issues since being dxd almost a year ago but, in the most simplistic terms, life goes on. Keep us posted on your Atripla experiences and again...welcome!
